Arrived at Rainbow Hotel

Check in

Didn't want to upload this but I saw Baby's legs up, and finds it pretty amusing!

Forever 21? Forever 26?

This sucks!
Our first meal at Ximending, Taipei and it sucks! It was written 肉圆 on the menu, so I thought it's our traditional meat ball soup. In the end it was something was kinda stink, jelly-like ball with meat inside. When it was served right up to our table, I couldn't stand the smell and after I had a bite of it, I almost puked. But Daryl thought it wasn't so bad. So we heading to the food stall next to this....
This is delicious. Near the hotel
and had minced meat noodles with MeatBall Soup (the kind I wanted) and a meat slice as side dish. It was delicious! By the way the people working there were all females and they were nice.

Got up at about 330am to prepare and packed the last few things into my luggage as we had to arrive at Changi Airport at about 530am! I only had 2-3 hours of sleep. Baby came and picked me up in a taxi and off  we went! It's a 4hrs 30 mins flight! Watched "Drive Angry" on my ipad and I fell asleep! Just so you know, Taipei has the same time zone as Singapore!

When we reached TaoYuan Airport (Taiwan), we took a taxi to Ximending where our hotel is. And OhMiGosh! it's another 1hr car ride! It was 30 degrees and I was hoping Taipei wouldn't be that bad but guessed what, Daryl regretted wearing his jeans and we perspired.

We checked into our hotel, unpacked some stuffs, slack awhile then headed down to hunt for food! We walked around for quite some time as we couldn't decide what to eat and the weather wasn't helping at all! We entered this "restaurant" ordered something called 肉圆 on the menu. Whatever happened you can scroll up! I mean what the hell! we finally settled on a restaurant and sigh, what a disappointment. So we ordered the second dish, which was noodles I-dont-know what sauce, taste like peanut and sesame! Hahahaha. Then I realised I read the menu wrongly! Not my fault! I haven't read Chinese since like after I graduated from High School! And and and, their chinese is the traditional chinese and not the simplified one! So, anyway, we went to the next stall and ordered minced meat noodles! It was pretty nice! hehe! I like the soup, and the side dish.

We walked around Ximending for a short while and couldn't take the weather, so we headed back to the hotel. And our planned was to go Fisherman's Wharf then to Shilin Night Market. However, we asked the receptionist, he said it was a little too late to go Fisherman's Wharf so we headed to Shida Night Market. I've never heard of the night market. The receptionist was really helpful and taught us how to go there.

We took MRT which they call it Metro there (can't remember which station). Shopped around, eat. And headed back to the hotel.
