(FYI: the wedding lunch is before the gate crashing/tea ceremony)
Woke up at 6am to get ready for gate crashing at Venelyn's place. Lydia and I were the latest to arrive at her place! Hehe. Prepared all the "ingredients" for the gate crashing of the groom, best man and brothers.

We hid Venelyn in the master bedroom and blocked with a sofa and her parents were sitting on the sofa.

Finally they arrived and here we go:

1st: Collect Ang Baos
We wanted to collect $8888 from Jia but he gave us 10 ang baos. Using the excuse for wanting more money, we moved on to the second mission.


2nd: Bitter Drink
All of them were given a cup of bitter drink with a slice of uncooked bitter gourd and they had to drink it and eat it. And Daryl thought that it was a slice of green apple. Hahaha


3rd: Sweet Drink
This was prepared by Lydia and I. Added yakult, sugar and honey. There were not enough yakult so we added a lot of honey. Hehe. But I think it wasn't sweet enough. It was like a nice drink to them instead of a torturous one, Chua had a few cups of it.


4th: Spicy
Gave them 2 whole chilli Padi each, they ate the first one, they couldn't take it anymore. They only had 2 big bottles of mineral water to share among themselves. Haha. And we wanted to gave them wasabi but i think most of us became soft hearted to see them suffer like that as there were a few couples, including Daryl and me. Hahaha. Venelyn texted,"let them in la, like so poor thing"


5th: Sour drink
I don't really know what's added in the drink other than a super sour candy. But I heard it was really sour and awful.


6th: Nutella as toothpaste
They were given a toothbrush with Nutella each and they had to brush their teeth with it. It's tasty but super unglam.


7th: 20 Eggs
They had to wear a party mask and a party hat each and collect 20 eggs around the neighbourhood. At first, they came back with one egg each but we said we want 20eggs. And they went to plunked the neighbour's small oranges to fake us. We wanted them to crack and drink the egg, but due to time constraint, we skipped that.


8th: Form "I Love Venelyn"
They were given 2 pails, and in 1 of the pails was mahjong tiles and frogs and in the other pail was worms and mahjong tiles. They had to dig out the mahjong tiles and form "I LOVE VENELYN". And Chua rigged all the tiles out like a piece of cake. It was suppose to be every brother must dig out tile at least once.


9th: 10 things Jia loves about Ven
Jia had to write 10 things he loves about Venelyn on a piece of cardboard and decorate it. Lol. And he wrote,"fertile"!

Then we opened the door for them. And the last mission was given by ven's parents.

Ven's dad asked Jia how much he understands Venelyn and he said "very well"! Her dad said," sing me her Favourite song" and he sang, but totally out of tune. Hahaha.

Finally, he got to Venelyn!

Then we travelled to Ven's grandmothers place and Jia's place for tea ceremony.
